Tomtom 720 Speed warnings

Hi

I bought this tomtom go 720t navigator. And when I was testing it today, I got this speedwarning when i was driving. Not from speed cameras, but speed limits. Is it a way to turn this of. Because its realy annoying. And some of the warings are wrong also.

Select Change Preferences/ Safety Preferences and uncheck the "Warn when driving faster than allowed" - the actual speed data is embeded into the map and cannot be altered on the device.
