Mio c510 upgrade to Miomap 2008

Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade the Mio c510 to have the Miomap 2008 OS installed?

Not as far as I'm aware

A few people seem to have got MioMap 3.3 running with C710, but even that is only supposed to work with the later widescreen models (C520 etc).

However, those who have installed MioMap 3.3 appear to be reporting that some features (eg TMC) don't work properly compared with functionality in MioMap 3.2/3.1

I believe also that MioMap 3.2 uses different maps to MioMap 3.3, which again uses different maps to MioMap 2008

I have the latest 3.3 version installed with all functions working perfectly. And yes it is a differnent map. The download is on the Mio site.

However I want to see if anyone can crack the c510 to use the 2008 software as I think this would be cool.
