TT Rider 2nd Edition latest map

Hi,

I have just bought a TomTom Rider 2nd edition with the map of Western Europe and I am trying to get TomTom to honour the "Latest Map Guarantee" (I have the map v7.15 and the latest is v7.20). TomTom have asked me for "A copy of the Latest Map Guarantee leaflet detailing the LMG Code (this is the green leaflet that came with your TomTom product with a code on it)." There was no such leaflet in the box when I bought the product (brand new, sealed untampered box from Play.com). Can anyone tell me if the leaflet is normally included with the TomTom Rider Europe 2nd Edition or whether the support guy has just got it wrong.

No green leaflet in mine, and only got it today...My map update didnt work either, but i think thats cos i used home, and forgot to set up new email account for it, and it over wrote my 720

Thanks for the response. I have looked into it a bit further and I am pretty sure that the Rider 2nd Ed. doesn't come with a leaflet with a code. The TomTom website appears to assume that the Latest Map Guarantee is activated the first time you connect to TomTom Home -- except it didn't work. The support team are still thinking about it. I hope they get there in the end.

i have the same no code in my box i email them i have to fax proof where i got it from (invoice) id number of the rider it took about two weeks to get sort out and they put 7.20 map in my account so i just download it hope this help you good luck
