Just spotted the 720 in NZ $748 at DSE pity its the crippled version like the 720 in Australia only 512m of internal memory but with NZ map of 26m and AU map 119m both will fit OK. However now that Map's are device specific, would I be able to get the 1.6gb Western & Central Europe Question

Have checked out EasyDevices and can get the 720 with the 2gb internal for
$475 plus post if I can get the Vat taken off, or $560 with Vat so I guess thats an option.

A 720 is a 720 at the end of the day, get whatever you can in terms of in built Flash memory but this doesn't matter too much as you can install an SD card with 4GB capacity to suplement the onboard memory without any issues, 8GB and 16GB capacity cards are known to work but they are not without some issues - A Euro map will work fine installed to an SD card inserted to the device, as would a Euro edition device with maps integral and the NZ/ Aus maps installed to an SD card.

I would use the wallet to vote/ decide to be honest, which option works out the least possible cost - Mike

I would think the price of x20 models will drop pretty quickly now that x30 models have been announced.
