I have searched the forums but I cant find the faults I have with my Go 720.
If I use the ‘Operate my device’ in Home 2.2.2.83 the next time I use the 720 the jukebox entry in the ‘quick menu’ has been removed also the volume control is set to 100%.
After a lot of emailing to and from Tomtom support I got this answer :-

Yeah, lots.......
A bug (ongoing) in TTHome software frequently causes the loss of icons on your unit. That's why you will see many **experienced** posters here try to avoid running TTHome like the plague. |

common problem ,i get a load of poi's show ,jukebox disappears voice changes back to jane and a few other problems appear everytime i use go on pc , got tired of this happening so don't use tt home anymore apart from updating and backups

Updates will require its use, but for back ups use Windows Explorer as it is far more reliable IMHO - Mike |
