Good day,
Having bought one of the above (I live in the uk, but have the maps for all eurpoean contrirs on a c/d)
The problem I have since new is I switch on, it runs a program & shows a web site; it then shows a window "one or more files are missing please reinstall"
I take the memory card out & start it ip it says 'no memory card'
I take it that the problem is with the memory card, but where can I get the files to correct the proble? many thanks. al

does the cd only contain maps or is their software on it too? it sounds lie there is a problem with the software on the actual device...

if it's new i'd return it and get a replacement.

thanks for your reply. i could not find any software on the cd, suprise!! received a very helpful reply from route66; altho some of the files i was told to load onto the memory card have loaded everything i could. now have erlyh; any idea where i could obtain the files that should be on th cd, many thanks. alsome control b ut i need some .exe files i feel to get it going prop
