help!

i have been updating my tt one and seem to have deleted my postcodes so that i could have more room for the update! i didnt back it up either! silly i know!
so i tried to download postcodes from a link on here. everything was ok until it said on my pc there wasnt enough room to process! DAMM!
so i deleted voices, and some POI. hoping this would give me some room to get back postcodes!
NOPE!
i had all info on tt home stating what i had on my sd card. so i decided to delete something that was 10mb not sure what it was, but i assumed it was my update!
then when i switched it all back on it should my sd card with a red cross on the screen!
i then tried to connect my tt to tt home and it said the was another application installed on this device, please turn off and connect again to the pc, and switch on. i did and same message.
i then read some other forums with regards to problems like mine. and one said fomat the card. i did and now i have NOTHING on it!
is there anything i can do?
i bought this tt one about 1year 6mths ago. brand new.
please reply! help needed!

Welcome to the forum, I hope I am reading your post incorrectly!

In short you have never made a backup of the device in the 18 months of ownership, you have deleted some files to try to make some space followed by a full format of the devices memory card?

If the above summary is correct the only advice I can offer is that you give TomTom support a ring in the morning and they sould be able to assist you (0845 161 0009)

What were you trying to update, the software or a map? - Mike
