|
|
My Garmin Nuvi 360 used to show the locations of cameras on overhead gantries on M25 & M42. Also used to display mobile and fixed cameras as distinct, tripods for mobile, standard black on white and yellow for fixed positions.
For last 3 months all cameras are shown pretty much as the same fixed positions, even mobile positions on motorway bridges. It does not display any cameras on M42/M25 and no specs cameras at roadworks on M6.
I have tried downloading every file variiation from the site and even reloaded old camera data to no avail.
I always use Garmin POI loader and load every Garmin software update.
Anybody have any ideas ?.

Either the consolidated by type or speed zoned versions of our database have the breakdown of camera types.
You must be doing something wrong, as I'm not a Garmin expert I'm not best placed to advise but looking at your download history, since Jul 07 you have been using the single file version, this does not differentiate between types. Prior to that you always used the Consolidated by Type version. I can see that you have downloaded both the Speed Zoned and Consolidated versions in January.
You need to double check you are actually uploading the correct version. delete any previous versions then download the last release (Consolidated or Speed Zoned, your choice) and upload again. _________________ Darren Griffin |

This sounds remarkably similar to the M42 'problem' Here |

I disagree, the OP is not seeing any differentiation between camera types which suggests he has the single file version loaded. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks for comments and advice. Will delete everything on Nuvi and load speed zoned tonight and see what happens tomorrow on the M42.
