I had a search but not found anything....... Got a TT720 and as a Mac user I also seemed have got a new version of home, that arrived after I bought a 4G SD card, so at the moment I have a good old section of MP3,s on the card and thats all working well.
I have my copy of Eastern Europe which I would like to have on the TT, but on the unit itself there is not enough room, well Home is saying no anyway and who am I to doubt it. It gives me the options of deleting items, but even with the computer voice file out the way there is still a fair way to go to get the East Euro map on.
I thought no problem I can stick that on the SD card and bobs yer uncle, but its seems a no go, do I miss the bleeding obvious somewhere or does it not work in a simple way for a simple person.
Any thoughts, advice, I cannot see how I can make room for it on the device itself.

It seems a no-go in what way, putting the map onto your SD card? It certainly works for me, having maps on an SD(HC) card. Does HOME not want to install there? Have you selected the correct memory? Have you got the map onto the SD but the device can't see it? Do you have an activation code, etc.? _________________ Tim

Thanks for very quick reply. I can choose in Home what I am looking at, gives me the option of the card or device to open. On the device when I choose the Map option I get a list of maps and prices, my Eastern Euro map is shown as on computer. I chose that and then I am told not enough room and the option to delete some files, at no point it asks for an activation code although I will stress this map was bought for my TT700, so I see your point there.
Change to the SD card and I go through the same options, Map is shown as on my computer and I get the option to upload it to the card, but it does not, I get a failed message and I can send that to TT. Thats as far as I get. Perhaps it is an activation on a different TT that is my problem. _________________ in the 128

If you no longer use it on the 700, that isn't an issue. What form is the map in? zip or cab maybe? Can you not copy it to the SD card manually? You don't have to use HOME. If you still have the product code you should be able to activate it for your new device. Which map version is it, by the way? _________________ Tim
