Do you think it will ever be possible perhaps with a software version update to get the computer voices on the TomTom One New Version (v2)?

I do not think this will be made available as it is a feature of the higher end devices within the product range, the hardware would probably support the functionality and indeed the TomTom One XL (American market only) ships with the TTS enabled on certain units, as a retro fit it will not be possible though due to license restrictions - Mike

Hi All
I seem to of deleted he computer voices off my 910 while doing some house keeping. Does anyone know where I can download them from ?
Using the "Computer Voice" button on Home 2.2 says none available !

Firstly check the voices are actually missing from the device, go to Change Preferences/ Manage Voices/ Switch Voice, scroll through the available voices installed and look for either Simon or Kate.

You cannot download them, the only hope is that you have made a full backup of the device to the PC PRIOR to this mistake, otherwise you have two courses of action:

Contact TomTom Customer Support (0845 161 0009) and arrange for the device to be returned (for which they will probably charge you).

Or

Find someone else with a 910 and copy the voice files from that device to your PC before putting them on your 910, it is pointless trying to request e-mail of the files as each voice is around 400MB in size! - Mike

B***er I don't have a backup with them on, Its a pitty they arn't on the CD that came with the 910!
