Has anyone ever send an email to GlobalSat's support email address and actually got a response?

Which compact Flash GPS company has the best support because I'm getting pretty fed up with my BC307?

Sometimes good support is more important then price or techincal specs.

Actually, - Yes.
I had a problem with my BT308, and this is the reply I got-

"Dear Roger:

Let me begin by thanking you for taking the time to write to us.

According to your description, there might be an inferior connection with your BT-308. Please contact the dealer you bought this BT-308 for replacement. Please accept my apology for any inconvenience.

I'm looking forward to our next opportunity to be helpful.
