Okay in case anyone else wants to know how to:
I have now successfuly transfered my favourites from copilot 6 to 7:

Explore into your Copilot 6 pocket pc and go to the copilot folder then the sub level save (this was on my storage card). In here you will find stopfavs.lst.
Copy this to your pc and open the stopfavs.lst file with notepad.

Inside you will see your all your stops along with their gps coordinates.

e.g.
Start Stop=Stop 0
Name=LS Stop
Address=
City=Leamington Spa
State=UK
County=Warwickshire
Zip=CV32 4
Longitude=-1535325
Latitude=52289140
Version=2
etc....

Now all your interested in is the Longitude and Latitude.

Fire up Copilot 7 on your Xda and go to favourites and add new, select gps coordinates, and decimal degress.

If you look at the example above you would need to enter:
Latitude as 52.289140 N
Longitude as 1.535325 W

The reason for this is that North & East is positive, South & West is Negative. So -15xxxx is 1.5xxx W

Hope this helps.

PS: There is probably a quicker and easier way but this is how I did it.
