1-Does anyone know how/where I can find maps for a mio C230 and Mio C520 for Brasil road Navigation?

2-What is the main reason for unlocking these devices?

Hi Dann111,
1. The only legal way to get Brazil maps is from the Mitac web site, or a retailer. This site does not support illegal software trading.
2. The reason for unlocking a Windows CE device is to allow other programs to run on it. If you don't want to use other programs then you don't need to unlock it.
