Alternative to Garmin Maps?

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering before I spend anymore cash if there is alternative methods of obtaining routing data/maps for GPS routing on the roads etc and/or footpath data?

I've got GB TOPO with my GARMIN 60CSX (although it came with my purchase and I don't think it's a proper one as contains no routing data and not all footpaths oh and it's only 450MB - total)

Any ideas oh wise ones?

You could always have a look at the free to use OSM project which can be found Here although I have only really seen this data used on a PC before though - Mike
