Hey all!
Firstly Happy Holidays!
Im really after a little advice if possible..Ive used my little Garmin I3 for a few years now,and i must say its done me proud!I appreciate its basic but has worked a treat for me..Have updated it a few times and now it seems to be giving up the ghost! So time to invest in a new unit..
Ive read loads of posts on here(and even confused myself! ),but was hopeing for some suggestions now the sales are due to start!..
Im looking for the best unit, with all the bells and whistles..A large screen would be great,Full postcode is a must,as i struggle with Dads early Navman..UK map, with a little France would be ideal.Speed cameras are a must, and POI's would be nice.. Had concidered the Tom Tom 910's? But just seen a review on ViaMitchelin x980T..?
Is there anything better...It will live in the car,not swapping from car to car,so size is not important
Bluetooth would be a toy id love,(but prob never use!) And TMC? Would be cool (as dont wanna be missing out) but is it subscrption based and cost a fortune?
Very sorry for all the newbie questions, and would really appreciate anybodys advice.
Many Many thanks in advance..Tel

I think you should have a look at the 920 T which has everything you are looking for and you would need to subscribe to Speedcams but the ones here are far better and more accurate. You also get a TMC reciever which gives you lifetime traffic, Is not said to be the best but if you wanted you could subscribe to traffic but that would cost and you would need a compatible phone to a GPRS type connection. hope this helps a little and you can get a full report at TT website on the TT920 T and one of the PGPS team is giving it a roadtest and you can read that in another topic also.
