Just came into possession of one of these which has V1.2 of Tomtom on it.

Will it run V5 or V6 does anyone know?

Thanks.

v5 will work on that PDA but vs 6 would require some other utility to rotate the screen for landscape/ portrate as the appliction doesn't carry bjis capability any longer - Mike

I'm running vs 6.03 on an iPAQ 1940 with no problems and I've never seen any need for landscape mode. Very Happy

I've got an old iPaq 3850 (which is the same range as the 3970 I think...).

TTN5 worked fine on that using the standard PPC2002 operating system, but I had to upgrade to PPC2003 to load TTN6.

Once I was on PPC2003 OS, TTN6 worked fine too.....

I have a 3850 from the old days running PPC2002 and TTN5, where did you get the upgrade to PPC2003 from and was it easy to do.
