Hi,
I am a newcomer to copilot Live 4.0. I might sound thick but I would greatly appreciate any input with regard to the import of POI to the PPC. How do I do it or if there is any previous forum that has stated that can you please direct me to it or them?
Mnny thanks. |

You do that in the desktop application. Go to "Tools" and then "Manage Custom Places", or "Import Custom Places". It accepts a number of formats. _________________ Lutz

You need to download all the POIs for the Victorias Secret shops.
Just kidding. How should I know what POIs you need? Take whatever you want and then convert it into the format required by CoPilot.
There are programs available to dump the TomTom POIs to plain text format (for example dumpov2.exe) _________________ Lutz

Thank you Lutz. As you are going to figure out, I am a real novice. I have downloaded the dump OV2 file and extracted it and used a sample POI, castles.ov2. However, I am not sure how to use the dump ov2 to change the format of castles.ov2 to another format. |

Using dumpov2 will give you a CSV file (Comma Seperated Value) and if you open this in Excel you can import it into column format. If you then re-save this as an XLS file you should then be able to import this into CoPilot Live. |
