That implies "YES"! The install for the media player has added the custom menu.
Again, I would say have a look at the guides and then put your old software back on as it will be of much more use to you. |

Andy - What I couldn't understand was that an add-on existed, using a custom menu, and MapShare still worked.
My understanding was that the Help and Mapshare items only worked if SdkRegistry was empty of Custom Menu and Apps. _________________ Richard

Yeah, I was bluffing my way round that!
On a related subject, do you remember a few weeks ago there was a topic about some new games for TomToms from Herosoft/Satnav_voices?
Now I have those installed, and they add a 4th page with two new icons to the 720's main menu. BUT...
1. there's no tomtom.mnu and
2. Nothing else has changed, Help me and Mapshare etc are still there!
I mentioned it to Mike Alder (I think!), to see if he could work out how it's done, as it's got me stumped! |

So I tried again, without a mnu File, and for checking purposes placed Happy Lines and POICapture in the SdkRegistry and they do appear on the last page.
I notice though that I have MapShare but not Help Me. Not that I'm bothered about that.
Would be nice to be able to get rid of the Menu Options that I have no use for, or want. Placing the wanted ones in the order I prefer would be another bonus. _________________ Richard

I've got everything, but I don't know how!
I have:
Help me
Mapshare
'Happy lines' and 'Robo' games on a menu page 4
but no tomtom.mnu anywhere.
Happy but confused! |

I have just followed the advice about the SDK registry etc and my Help menu is up and working but the nearest of most things is 126 miles away (even on the walk to menu !)... are there any files I can download about police doctors pharmacies etc ? Also ... nothing in the first aid menu or other info menu |

It didn't take you long to decide to risk it - 10 minutes! Hope you did a back up using Windows Explorer first.
I couldn't have told you whether it works on a 910, so glad you found it did! _________________ Anita
