Cameras on the Opposite Carriageway

I have recently downloaded your speed camera database to my Garmin Zumo. This GPS came with a speed camera database which I was able to turn on or turn off. Turning off not only stopped audible alerts but removed the icons from the screen. I notice that it is not possible to remove the icons from your database by unchecking the box in the Proximity Alert menu.
Secondly, I was disappointed to see that the icons and warnings given include cameras on BOTH sides of the carriageway. This was not the case with the warnings provided by the Garmin database. How do I stop the GPS picking up irrelevant camera information so I can enjoy more of my MP3 music without unwarranted audible warnings?

unfortunately garmin only allow directional warnings for their own database... they have not added this functionality to poi loader so we are unable to make use of it yet.

as for not showing the icons on the screen - this is how garmin wrote the software and there is nothing we can do about that...
