POI help please for a real newbie !!

Hi, I have just purchased a TomTom One 3rd edtion for my wife for Christmas.

I have looked for two POI's namely Butlins in Bognor Regis and the O2 Arena. Neither of them are showing up, I would have thought these are the sort of places that would be in there.

I have gone onto the TomTom website and downloaded all the latest maps etc.

Am I doing something wrong ?? Is there an easy way to get this sort of POI downloaded etc

Appreciate any help.

The POIs that come with the TomTom are OK for some categories, but APPALLING for most (try finding your nearest doctor, for example...).

TT have been really poor at admitting this, usually just saying "if you don't like ours, then there are always 3rd party ones" (although if you had a problem with POIs they would then say "we don't support 3rd party POIs"!)

There are several websites doing 3rd party POIs - some free, some paid for. The ones from this site are as good, or better, than most, because WE keep them up to date in the same way as the speed camera database.

If you have v7 maps and software, TT have produced some add-on files for Doctors,Dentists,Police stations and Pharmacies in the UK. Still not good, but better than nothing!
