Read the tips on here re getting a bigger memory card & NOT to buy one off e bay.

I have a Tom Tom 1, where /how much can I buy one that's reputable?

For safety - 2GB maximum. "High speed". Reputable brand like Kingston or Sandisk should be fine.

Where ever you decide to get your SD card from take a note of postage costs as these can vary greatly and could be as much as 50% or more of the card cost.
