It's not possible on the Unit itself. If you are referring to the ogg files, I believe these have been set to maximum, without distortion.
If you feel that they still need to be louder, you would have to load the files into a Sound Editor that can handle ogg format, and increase the volume to the level you want. Be prepared for distortion.
If you do a Search for Audacity there are a lot of Topics about this. _________________ Richard

Can you do me a favour please, nigpit? (and anyone else who agrees...)
I have been badgering Tomtom about the volume inconsistencies for ages and it is getting much worse now that we have extra mp3 players, FM transmission, TTS voices (which are louder than "normal" ones) etc.
Could you add your opinion by sending them some feedback on this page:
https://www.tomtom.com/plus/feedback.php or even better, by raising a support question about it?
It will all help if lots of people report it as a problem.
What I'd like to see is a simple "volumes" page (like you get on PC soundcards) with seperate sliders for
Navigation Voice, Sound Effects+Warnings, Hands-Free calls, mp3 player/audiobooks.
The normal volume control would then adjust ONLY the volume of the internal speaker.
Also I'm running a one-man campaign to have the muting of mp3s and audiobooks when a navigation instruction comes through, made OPTIONAL.
On some journeys, it gets ludicrous, with the music only playing for the odd moment between all the voice messages! (especially if you have a road with a string of roundabouts in quick succession). |

Yea sure Andy will do. I'm totally with you on this. It seems crazy that you could miss a speed camera because you are talking in the car and dont want to listen to bitching betty at top volume. |
