TomTom720t keeps resetting its self

Hi all

This is the first day I have been to work with my new toy (tom-tom 720T)
Working o.k. All day until about 3 pm on way home from London then it kept resetting its self (yellow line going across bottom of screen).
This happened about 10 times in 1 hour.
The tom-tom kept its route but loosed the speaker settings.
The tomtom is on the charger.

When I plug the unit into the docking station (connected to computer)
After about 5min it wants to close down.

When it is plugged into the mains charger it works all o.k.

Green light on bottom of display is on all the time.

ANY HELP PLEASE.

Traffic worked for abot 80% of the day.

Hi,
Have you used TomTom Home to update your 720T onto the latest firmware and maps?

Also have you tried entering on your 720T navigating to another location?

Perhaps the route you were on was too much for it or had an error causing the reboots

Settings I think are only saved when the unit has a normal controlled shutdown thus anything you change before a crash-reboot is normally lost.
