Reformatting TT 910

Hi

Downloaded the new software and bought the latest maps for the TT 910, seams to be running slow. Is there a way to format the hard drive then do a clean install of the latest software and only the new maps??

If the software is working, I'd have thought that's about as good as its going to get. Its not like a PC where you slowly clog it up with lots of extra software. Unless you've added things like Tripmaster, the main TomTom program is all there is.

Also, there are several folders as well as the Map one that really need to be there...
voices, Loquendo TTS, postcodes to name a few. So you can't JUST have the system files and a map.

If you have good backups of before the update, you can play without too much worry, but if you haven't you could get in a hell of a mess.
