What improvements does it bring? Any downsides? Just that my 910 is working well as it is!!

I'll upgrade mine tonight. Difference between latest Navcore 7 and current version (6.5?) should be immense. Looking forward to testing it out on my trip tomorrow.

Ditto- I'll update this evening (after backing up of course!) and report back.

I'm interested to see if it's as good as advertised or as bad as some users report...

Have upgraded my 910 and seems OK. Except! My maps are the latest when checked by the product code on TomTom website. They are not though. You will need to upgrade/purchase map issue 67xxx. Mine are 66xxx and map share will not run on this issue.

For me it was worth doing just to have the ability to move the Info bar to the side. Went without a hitch

Can anyone think of a reason why the Go300 wasn't included in the latest release? I thought it was pretty identical to the 500.

I think leeway to arrival time is when you put in an arrival time and it shows +10 minutes or -10 minutes to tell you if you're ahead or behind schedule.

Looks like my original GO is end of life now though Sad

Tap the signal strength bars on the display, then tap the small box at bottom right that says 'version x.xxx'.

You will get a Version Screen and the Map version will be displayed amongst other information. e.g. Map: 'United_Kingdom_and_republic_of_Ireland' v705.1480

Tomtom One 2nd Ed.

I installed it and the extra programs i had all appeared on my fourth page, but there was two guided tours icons on the page previous, a bug maybe?

Anyway removed all external programs and restarted my tomtom. That seemed to fix the problem.

Yes it works, I cant vouch for stability at the moment, but more importantly, where's the fricken changable icons ? Twisted Evil

I think it probably is classed under the heading 'features vary' by device.

I'm afraid so, not present on the 910 either which is disappointing.
