I have recently purchased a Garmin Nuvi 360t and downloaded the PGPS Camera database. In certain places, I am getting a 1mph Speed Alert warning and because I am obviously over 1mph get a Speed Warning! I have spoken to Garmin about the problem but they have not heard of it before; they also admitted that many Garmin owners do use the PGPS database without this problem Any ideas to get rid or correct it please?
Thanks

Try reloading it making sure you select Express Mode.

Did you change any of the file names?

No, I did not change any file names. Downloaded the Speed Zoned file to the Folder on my hard drive that has my existing Custom POIs in it; then used POI Loader to move it all to the SD Card on my Nuvi. Shall I repeat this operation or is there anything that I should do differently?
Thanks for all your help

Many thanks. I have done as you suggested and will report back after I've been out and tried it again.

Hi again Paul
Sorry to say, it is still doing it. Seems to be in the areas where there are possible Mobile Cameras.
Have you any other ideas of how to overcome this problem. A different database perhaps or a different method of loading? Or?
Am I they only one to have met this problem?
Thanks for your help.

Sure I've seen someone with this before. Search didn't find anything. Will try again.

Can you give an example of a road where this happens or the camera number? They all have a format such as pMobile:12345@50 where 12345 is the camera number.

are you sure there are no other POIs with a '1' in the filename? garmin have this great system where if there is a number in the file name (eg cameras30) then it uses that value for the associated speed.

it was great when someone had the Q8 petrol station poi as it was showing as an 8mph warning!!

Hi Paul
In the area there is Mobile 6416 and a Fuel POI Texaco, 1 Bull Head Street, Wigston, Leics.
Now we know the cause, is there an answer?
Thanks mjtima

it gets the speed form the name of the file so unless the actual file you uploaded is called "Fuel POI Texaco, 1 Bull Head Street, Wigston, Leics.csv" then this won't be the cause...

Try:-

Using POI loader transfer only the Zonned database [leaving out all other POIs]. Do you still get the problem?

Using POI loader transfer only your choice POIS [leaving out all other POIs and speed cameras]. Do you still get the problem?
