|
|
Ok, so I know of the buzzing probs with the handsfree on the 720 but I've got a different prob here. It all seems to be working correctly apart from the very low volume so its entirely unusable at the moment. All other sounds on the unit are fine and adjustable apart from the bluetooth handsfree. Have I missed an menu option here or am I doing something wrong?

During an actual call, if you bring up the volume control (tap bottom left corner) it is actually a seperate "hidden" volume, different to the main volume control you normally get. Try that, if you haven't already. |

Thanks for replying Andy, and no I didn't know that and yes just tried that and it seems to be already adjusted to the far right which I assume is maximum volume?
Oh dear, this is my second 720, don't tell me its got to be returned for a third, everything was going so well!?
In fact it'll probably be a navman after this one. |

How about setting the volume on your phone output? I had to increase mine for hands free sets (of all types - wired and bluetooth). There is a setting on my Nokia to alter the phone's volume to headset/hands free/car or whatever. It's so long ago I did it I can't remember, but I have a feeling that too needed to be done during a call (it has a volume control thing on the side).
I'm on my 5th GO720 now and I never had that volume problem with any of them (I have the 720 on 100% volume all the time anyway). _________________ Dennis

Naughty! What about respect for one's elders?
Anyway, the new teeth are terrific - they can eat stuff and probably also help with satellite acquisition. _________________ Dennis
