how do I uninstall v9 maps

I think I might have sorted it,
I bit the bullet and connected the Nuvi to the PC, highlighted all the files shown, took a deep breath and deleted the lot. It took a few minutes and seeing the icons whizzing to thin air was scary.
I then copied all the backup files, pasted them into the Nuvi drive and hey Presto..
OK it rolled back to a previous software release, and deleted all user info but that was soon sorted and I'm back to where I was before the "upgrade".
I have now got a new backup file as well.

Now you've recovered, it may well be worth applying the firmware updates again (obviously this time without the v9 maps)...
