Has any one managed to use Destinator 6 Ver 6.11 running on a PDA and receive the TMC? My unit picks up up the TMC Channels, but in over 200 miles I have never had any traffic downloads, I have tried changing Baud Rates and COM Setting but no luck, I have noticed on Destinators web site it show as TMC not free in the UK and you have to have Trafficsam, but I am sure that PNA reports say that have TMC and it works fine. |

Szetok, could you please tell me what equipment you are using. I am think of buying a GPS capable PDA based Sat Nav system with TMC capability. Does your system work well? How good/accurate is the TMC?
Thanks. |

I currenty have a XDA Orbit with the GPS receiver built into the unit so Destintor will work what ever car I am in but without the TMC warning, but when I am on my own car I have a GNS Bluetooth/TMC reciver unit, which is attached to an to my car radio aerial which improves the radio TMC signal no end.
I would wholey recomend the Destinator program, it seem to be the best out of all the other programs I have tried. |
