Just bought a T720 but I cant install TOM TOM HOME off the CD.
I have uninstalled all previous copies of HOME that was installed on my PC.
When I try to install it I get the following error message:
Error Code: 5006 080070020
Error Information:

I have downloaded the latest version from TOM TOM site which its version1.5. Ther version ont he disc is version 1.6.
Also I keep seeing this Version 2 BETA but cant find where to download it.
CAN ANYBODY ASSIT PLEASE BEFORE I THROW THIS OUT THE WINDOW !!!!!  |

also I click oncheck for update and states I already have the latest version of tom tom home ?????  |

Once you install and run Home v1.5 or v1.6, if you are connected to the internet AND LOGGED IN TO YOUR TOMTOM ACCOUNT, it should automatically download Home v2.0 (see progress bar in the bottom right hand corner). Only when it has finished downloading it (to a temp store) will it then ask if you want to install it. You have the option of keeping or losing v1.xx during the update process. |

Ive tried that mate but it doesnt download anything.....?
As stated above I did try clicking update tom tom home but said I had the lateast version. The 1.6 version on the cd wont install at all.
Is it a Windows vista/tom tom problem ?? |

Still getting an error message saying another version of setup is running or other applications running.
All other tom tom programmes are deleted off my PC so I cant see how this can be the case. This doesnt also explain why tom tom home states that version installed (v1.5) is the latest version when it clearly isnt !!???
Do you think it could be a Windows Vista/TOM TOM HOME Problem ? |
