I am using Navigator 6 on an HTC P3300. I am finding the signal strength bars in the bottom right of the screen to be a big waste of valuble screen space.

Is there any way of getting rid of those signal bars? They are quite unnecessary, as I can tell when the signal is down as the display goes "black & white".

Thanks

If I recall this was removable (or was it not vertical) on TomTom 5 via the status bar preferences.

Without it there then the status bar would not be taking up almost a fifth of the screen.

So, I am interested in trying to find out if it can be removed or rotated even.

Could it be possible using regedit?

Not possible AFAIK.

It's part of TomTom's reduction of functionality for Navigator - probably trying to get people to buy the PNDs - before they stop developing Navigator Question

Mind you - if you think that it's a waste of screen space - you should take a look at iGo 2006 Razz
