My memory card got corrupted, stupidly I've managed to lose all the data on the card and don't have a back-up on my PC.
Is there anywhere that I can get a factory restore of my TomTom ONE new edition? I had the Uk and Ire maps.
Very unhappy, can anyone help? |

You can get the system software as a free download.
The map will take more effort. Unless you have a backup, you will need a new copy. If you were looking to get the latest map, you can buy and download a new one from the TT website.
If you want a copy of the map you have you will need to talk to TomTom. You didn't actually buy a map with the Tomtom, you only bought a licence to use a copy of the map. That licence is still valid, so TT should give you a copy so that you can continue to use the benefits of the licence.
You will probably be asked to prove that you are the legal owner of the machine. And they will probably want an "admin fee" to cover the cost of giving you the copy.
You will almost certainly need to get past the first level of what passes for customer support at Tomtom. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

OK thanks, I've dropped them an email, I have the card with my product ID on it, I just need the software and the map. Hopefully they will come back soon. |

OK managed to sort it now. Found a torrent with the maps I lost, downloaded installed and used my original ID activation number and everything is OK now. |
