I have just gone back to a Garmin having had a mio c250 for a while(bad move) which replaced an i3. My question is the i3 had a nice white screen in the parts of the display that should be white, the c510T on the other hand turns a light shade of what i would describe as pinky lilac Embarassed when it has been on for a while anybody else found this?, just out of curiosity when in halfords the other day I looked at there display models and one was white and the other pinky lilac.
Any ideas

Sounds like a fault to me. If it's still pretty new I'd go for a replacement.

Obviously getting Garmin to swap it is the best solution.
However...

In the diagnostics, I notice there is a page devoted to changing the display. (Hold TIME for 7 seconds, then press "Back" twice). Mess around at your own risk Exclamation )

I have seen that page and had a little play about,(took note of the original settings first)but after I turned the unit off then back on it doesn't seem to keep the changes I have made, is there some thing I have to do to save them ?. In the mean time I have performed a hard reset "any body doing this remember to back up your favourites before hand as a hard reset will delete them" you will also need to run webupdater after with the traffic master plugged in. First impressions when switched back on is the screen is as it should be. I will post true results tomorrow after I have used it for the day.
