Hmm I just realised I'm running Safari 3 Beta, MikeB is using v2 Safari and also has the issue so we'll get this looked at.

It does work in Firefox on the Mac though which is a workaround until we get this fixed.

I had this problem recently too.

Firefox definitely works though.

Despite javascript being active in Safari, there is the odd web site which doesn't work properly and Firefox is a good work around - but it's not isolated to PGPSW

I have the same problem. I'm a Mac user and have managed all previous downloads with no problem using Mac's web browser Safari.

I have ticked the 'important note' box and have Javascript installed, but the 'Download Database' remains 'greyed out'

Any suggestions ?

Jim

Firefox is a free download, you could give it a try:

Or upgrade to the v4 Beta of Safari. I have had zero issues with it, it is also now classed as a 'Public Beta' and its due to go to full release very soon anyway.

This only shows Safari v3 Beta, which is what I already have.

Am I missing something?

No but I'm missing some touch typing lessons! It is of course v3! Do you still have issues using Safari v3? It's fine for me?

Ah, you were just checking that people read your posts properly Wink

I've just tried it again a moment ago and although I didn't actually go all the way through to downloading, it does appear to be OK with Safari - ie the Download Database button is now black instead of being greyed out like it was before.

i've since removed the tick-box anyway! main reason was after a discussion with some of the others the act of actually pressing 'download' is an action to state you agree. - it's not our fault if you don't read the terms before agreeing to them!

No cookies are enabled. It appears to be an incompatibility issue with Safari, although as I said, it's always worked for previous downloads.

I was able to get the download using Firefox, so no idea what the problem is with Safari. Just glad I was able to switch browsers and get the latest updates.

Thanks for your response.
