Hmm I just realised I'm running Safari 3 Beta, MikeB is using v2 Safari and also has the issue so we'll get this looked at.
It does work in Firefox on the Mac though which is a workaround until we get this fixed. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I had this problem recently too.
Firefox definitely works though.
Despite javascript being active in Safari, there is the odd web site which doesn't work properly and Firefox is a good work around - but it's not isolated to PGPSW _________________ Andy

I have ticked the 'important note' box and have Javascript installed, but the 'Download Database' remains 'greyed out'
Any suggestions ?

Firefox is a free download, you could give it a try:

Or upgrade to the v4 Beta of Safari. I have had zero issues with it, it is also now classed as a 'Public Beta' and its due to go to full release very soon anyway.

This only shows Safari v3 Beta, which is what I already have.
Am I missing something? _________________ Andy

No but I'm missing some touch typing lessons! It is of course v3! Do you still have issues using Safari v3? It's fine for me? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Ah, you were just checking that people read your posts properly
I've just tried it again a moment ago and although I didn't actually go all the way through to downloading, it does appear to be OK with Safari - ie the Download Database button is now black instead of being greyed out like it was before. _________________ Andy

i've since removed the tick-box anyway! main reason was after a discussion with some of the others the act of actually pressing 'download' is an action to state you agree. - it's not our fault if you don't read the terms before agreeing to them!

No cookies are enabled. It appears to be an incompatibility issue with Safari, although as I said, it's always worked for previous downloads.
I was able to get the download using Firefox, so no idea what the problem is with Safari. Just glad I was able to switch browsers and get the latest updates.
Thanks for your response.
