RAC 110 Alarms

Please help a relative beginner ! I've updated my RAC 110 with the camera database. The ICONS show just fine on the maps but now I don't get the flashing speed warnings I used to get if I was within the warning distance from a camera and travelling too fast. This feature is controlled in the 'configure alarm' section of the 'change settings' menu and can be set to give visible and/or audible alarms. The handbooks aren't explicit on the topic, and at first glance it looks like a one-off alarm at a single speed, but try it with the original camera files and you'll see what I mean. Is there something in the .csv files that is different or missing? Is there anything I can do to get the feature working with the new files? For sure the warning is a good feature and I don't really want to lose it. All help much appreciated, and thanks in advance.
