Destinator (blue media BM6380) PLZ HELP

Hi all,

I have recently purchased a second hand BM6380 when I turn it on it just keeps saying 'acquiring satellite'.

Please can you tell me how long i need to wait before it connects to the satelite.

and if there is something else i should be doing.

Buying something else should be a priority. I rushed to get one after reading a computeract!ve five star review but found it the most useless piece of kit I've ever bought. It took forever to acquire satellites and rarely switched on without problems. The routes were a joke. It wouldn't work at all in the car without an external aerial. (Don't waste more money on one of these) There's some marvellous sat nav equipment available now so don't be put off.
