need help using tomtom 920t in canada

Hi All just found this site and it looks brilliant I have a question if someone can help I have just got a Tom Tom 920T for xmas and I am off to Canada soon just wondering how you go about using my Tom Tom over there as I have tried to view the US and Canada maps but I cant find them and the Tom Tom site is not the best also I didn’t get a product cod card in the box of my 920T wondering if this one comes with one ? got it from Helfords.

Welcome to the forum, can you go to Change Preferences/ Manage Maps/ Switch Map and select the USA map from the presented list (you will need to switch back to Europe to use the device in the UK)
Your unit is not missing a product card, all map activation is now performed via the TomTom Home software on your PC. - Mike
