Problem with pois on tomtom nav6

Hi there.

I currently have tomtom 6 navigator installled on my n73. it works perfectly except for the pois.
Ive tried adding custom pois following the instructions found on these forums. i added 327 of them in total, downloaded from pocketgps. I have a 2gb memory card which is less than half full with everything on so no problems there. when i try to view the pois i can only see those with names strarting A-C. So anything that starts D-Z is not showing? Very odd. All the pois are on the memory card because i can view them in my picture gallery.

I was wondering if theres a custom poi limit? if so how many is it? i thought you could add 1000s!

I have the following software specs:
App version 6.010 (7640)
GPs driver v1.20
Map: GB plus major roads of WE v650.1046

Welcome to the forum, you can indeed have hundreds of thousands of POI locations stored BUT they must be within 100 Custom Categories, each file that ends with the file extension of .ov2 equals a single Custom POI Category, count up the number of these resident within your map folder. (Although I suspect you know the answer to this as 327)

Delete the ones you don't need or download the POI files again from this site using the "Combine as sub-cat" option, this will combine separate POI files such as ATMs into one single file taking up one of your 100 allocations instead of a separate POI category for each bank - if all you want is your cash does it matter which hole in the wall you get it from?
The same applies to Fuel, just combine - as Petrol is Petrol as far as I am concerned, I have no interest in the logo or supplier - just need to know where I can get it from - Mike

aha! combine in sub catergories, i remember selecting not to do that! solution...thank u very very much!! kfc and mcdonalds werent showing up so i was getting upset !
