|
|
Using TTN6 with Western Europe map and pocketgpsworld-uk... speed zoned cameras. can I add -eur- speed zoned cameras without messing up the uk cameras? as both speed zoned camera files have to go into the same western europe map directory. I tried this and noticed the M25 had speeds displayed in what looked like EU format (Km's) and not miles as before I added the eur cameras. So I have removed them for now. Also, if this is possible are there .OGG files anywhere to go with the EUR speed zoned cameras? |

Tony, you should be able to install the Euro cameras and the UK ones at the same time, the warning is relative to present position and POI stored location, it is not in any way related to speed. In fact there shouldn't be any cameras in the Euro download that are in mainland UK (Ireland being the exception).
Check your e-mail as I have sent you a set of Euro ogg files - Mike |

Thats as I thought, Thanks for the email. done that, but, noticed the following:
OGG files with no matching OV2 & BMP files; (pocketgps_eur_ prefix)
mobile_110
specs_100
specs_110
specs_130
specs_20
specs_30
specs_40
specs_50
specs_60
specs_80
specs_90
OV2 & BMP files with no matching OGG files; (again with same prefix)
mobile_var
all pmobile (cured by copying mobile and renaming to pmobile)
the mobile_var in the UK files is also missing an OGG file.
Thanks for the help. |

I did mention the fact there were more ogg files than Euro camera categories currently in the database in the e-mail I sent..... mikealder wrote: | please note the attachment covers far more camera types than there are currently categories, but I decided it was best to create a fully comprehensive set rather than just the camera types/ speeds we currently have in the database. |

mobile_var | The Mobile var camera category was always an empty file set created by the web site, as it containes no cameras I never load it to the device so didn't think an audio warning was required, only recently has a single camera appeared in the Mobile Var UK file and that could be an error.
newnavman wrote: | all pmobile (cured by copying mobile and renaming to pmobile). | I don't use PMobiles so never gave them a second thought, I will have a go at creating some PMobile sounds though and add them to the file set - good idea
newnavman wrote: | the mobile_var in the UK files is also missing an OGG file. | For the same reason as the Mobile_var camera in the Euro database, if its an empty file why create sounds for it - although currently there is a single entry in this ov2 file

We're hoping to make these available once we've tidied them up a bit. _________________ Darren Griffin |
