I'm running Pocket Navigator (Memory Map) on a 2210 with Globalsat BT.

When I start up PN I am now getting the "Failed to terminate RS232 thread" error and it is driving me nuts! It was working and I really don't know what has changed. I've even done a hard reset and reinstalled everything on my 2210 (TTN2, Pocket Navigator).

I would be grateful for any ideas.
Thanks
Simon

I normally get this error when Pocket Navigator cannot open the serial port for some reason. This is often when I am using a bluetooth GPS and the connection doesnt get made.

I must admit that I havent seen it for a long time now though.

No I'm not using a keyboard.

It's a frustrating problem - I was out walking yesterday and just couldn't get it work.

Have you just installed TomTom with GPS 2.08 or 2.09? You get this error message when the serial port (inc Bluetooth Serial) is locked. TomTom2 GPS 2.08 & 2.09 will lock up the port unless you fix the install.

Als if you have set your serial (bluetooth) port up incorrectly in MM, you also get this error.
