Speed Camera Database it is free or not?

hi there,

I got TomTom ONE GP XL package, I really love it! it's great fun to drive around with TomTom devices :d

I'm wondering and I dont understand one thing about Downloading FREE Speed Cameras Database!!

above url it said "Dont buy Camera Data From Ebay Download the database for FREE at www.pocketGPSWorld.com"

When i click "Download the current database here" this take me to:

http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/subscription.php

Now i cant find where i can download Speed Camera Database - it asking me to pay for it? what's the catch?

Ok but seriously, I think somehow you have found an old template of the PGPSW database page. Back then the database was free but due to costs in running the site they had to implement a cost.

£2 a month or £19 a year. Hardly likly to break the bank and worth every penny. And if you report any new camera locations or changes as per the rules you could win a free liftime subscription. Its all there so have a read and see what you think!

The database is free to all PGPSW subscribers.

It is also the most up to date database you will find and its updated every month. What more could you ask for.

palmgpsworld was one of our old url's - where did you find that link from?!

as others have mentioned - you need to subscribe to the members area which gives access to members only forums, regular competitions and the speed camera database.

it costs £2 for a month or £19 for a full year. the payment is for the subscription as a whole and not solely for the speed camera database.

I've found palmgpsworld page from google.

I got the card from tomtom - this contain serial number - can i download latest version from TomTom website for a year?

TomTom's database is a subscription service as is ours. Unless you have an active TomTom PLUS Safety Camera subscription or your initial free trial period is still active then the answer would be no.

Ours is £2 for one month or £19 per year and widely regarded as being superior to TomTom's as well as cheaper.

He's talking about the safety camera scratch cards.

These are for the TomTom camera updates (not as good as here, but not bad), and you need to visit www.tomtom.com to activate your scratch card.

Scratch cards are sold my currys among others in the uk for traffic subs and the same for cameras.
