I have an XDA Orbit with the UK maps on a 256mb SD card, and the European maps on disc for the PC
I want to purchase an upgrade key to enable me to install the EU maps, but think I need a 1gb card at least?
Also, will I be able to use all maps on a new card and reactivate Copilot on the XDA if I remove the SD card supplied with Copilot?
I ask because ALK want £50 more for the preinstalled software, whereas a new SD card is only a tenner!

If you have the license code to unlock the European maps, then you can install the maps for just the specific areas that you want from the desktop application. With a 1GB card you could fit it all on. With a 256MB then you may find that you get the bits that you need (for instance England, the Benelux countries and Northern France should fit). You can also copy the maps for within a given radius of a city.
Given that they announced the release of Copilot 7 back in February, you might find that it actually gets released in the next few months (ho ho ho!). You might want to check with them if you would be able to transfer the European map upgrade to version 7. |

Maybe ALK support will respond as well sometime (maybe when they launch CP7?!!)
Will pay for the code, and get my self a 1gb card then, although all I need for now is Spain.
