Does anyone have some good recommendation for GPS navigation that has been released for WM6 on smartphone.
I tried TomTom but they were just a little bit unhelpful -
"We haven't tested it and so we won't tell you if it might work...if it doesn't work we won't give you a refund"
How bad is that for customer services! I magaged to get a copy to test with and it didn't work anyway - glad I didn't waste my money.
Any advice greatly welcome. |

Navigon, ALK CoPilot, Mapopolis, TomTom - they do all work. _________________ Lutz

You obviously have different experiences to me.
TomTom reports "iPAQUtil does not match model ID" and then quits
CoPilot simply doesn't install. It installs on the PC but loads up the application installer for the iPAQ without the option of installing! It also reports the remaining space on the device incorrectly which means that maps can't even be uploaded to the device from the PC.
Have you actually installed either of these on the 514 or do you say it works because you think it should work? |

Oh, desktop installers. They are so overrated. I always use the CAB files. I have tested TomTom and Mapopolis. I know someone who knows someone who's 514 runs CoPilot. _________________ Lutz

Thanks Lutz,
In the end I bit the bullet and bought TomTom anyway (v5.2) - it works! |
