After several Mapshare updates,
I have some new files in the map folder:
CAxxxx.ov2
PAxxxx.ov2
where xxxx are numbers.
Q:
If I want to make backup off the updates,
is it enough to backup just these files,
or do I have to backup the whole map folder?
The idea was to speed up the backup prosses, and if I wanted,
just put these files in a copy of the first backup I did when the unit was brand new. _________________ Best Regards

I would keep your day one back up as it is with out messing around with it, make another copy on the PC of the drive with the new files in place and keep that periodically updated by adding the files that map share downloads and installs to your device, whilst the Home application should track and store updates on the PC I wouldn't trust it for a true back up - Mike

I have two back up, one from day one and one called New, I just keep over writing the new version after every update that works for a day or two. _________________ TomTom Go 700,
