I seem to have somehow disabled the speed camera warnings on my i3 (both audible and visible) and I cannot re-activate. Anyone got any suggestions how to reset to default please? I have reinstalled the camera database and the warnings option in the unit settings is enabled but it still remains silent. |

Welcome lionel186.
Can i just check you have Proximity Alerts ON under Settings, Navigation, Proximity Alerts.
Which database are you using? Can you see it loaded under Where to?, Food, Hotels and More, Custom Points?
What options did you use in POILoader - Express or Custom?
Do you not get an alert even if over the speed limit for the approaching camera? |

Hi Paul
Thanks for the quick response. These are my unit details.
Software ver 3.40
Audio ver 2.50
Map City Navigator Europe NT+ v8
Proximity alerts are ON and I used Express mode to load POI's.
I don't get any warnings at all even though I may be over the limit. It was working fine up until recently.
Regards

If so, not heard of this before. I feel it should be something simple..... |

Hi Paul
Problem solved. After your question about method of install I vaguely remember doing a manual install so I must have cocked it up. I just deleted all POI's and re-installed using Epress mode. Alerts are now working fine. Thanks for the prompt. Just goes to show the power of the net. Thanks again.
Regards
