My "original" Win Explorer backup is 1.7GB (1,845,744,475 bytes), 562 Files, 43 Folders. I doubt if anybody could send you anything to help - with no product code card these days, I'd guess TT have hard coded identity into the device somehow. You said you formatted it - mine is FAT 32 if that's of consequence.

You mentioned earlier the likelihood of sending it back and that's beginning to look like the only remaining option.

Well it's all working again so I don't know what that was all about. I’m surprised that I still have an account after venting (let rip) to tom tom customer services today. But it sure did feel good doing so.
