TT6 from SD Card woes!

Hi,

I've been given an Axim X5 running PPC 2003 by a friend who gave up trying to get Navigator 6 working on it..

I've got the activation code on a credit type card & the software seems to be on an SD card (he can't find the original CD/DVD which came with the package).

The folder structure on the SD looks like this:

GB_plus_major_roads_of_WE

sys

TomTom HOME SD Install.app
TomTom-Cfg

zip

with these files in the root

._TomTom HOME SD Install.app
InstallTomTomHOME.exe
Start.exe
Autorun.inf
ttdesk.ver

If I try to run TT6 on the Axim, I get "No Maps Found". How do I point the app to the maps folder on the SD card?

GB_plus_major_roads_of_WE would be the map folder.
What size is it?
does it have files in it like
cline.dat cname.dat cnode.dat
faces.dat mapinfo.dat
GB_plus_major_roads_of_WE.mid
GB_plus_major_roads_of_WE.pna
?

Its 221Mb and yeah, it has all of those files in there, but it still tells me "no maps found" when I start up the app Confused

With notepad can you look at the contents of the small
GB_plus_major_roads_of_WE.pna file?
This will show the version of the map.

It appears this is a known problem on the X5 and it needs a small registry change to make it look at the SD card.

Not sure if I can post it here.
