I think a lot of people have suffered from the PGPSW virus - it's got to be one of the worst Wink

...but is there a clause under Act ABC, Section 123cde which allows me to use that excuse when the team wish to revoke my posting privileges your honour Rolling Eyes

I think that I would just plead insanity and the likes of DennisN would probably back me up on that and I work within spitting distance of Broadmoor, so I'm OK...it's everybody else I worry about Laughing

I've never seen a mobile eating a sandwich or drinking. That must be illegal, I'll look it up.. Laughing

The lady in question was driving a black BMW 4x4 travelling west towards Southampton, talking on her mobile phone with a sandwich in her other hand. Still holding the sandwich and using the same hand to turn the steering wheel and execute a U turn (her excuse would most likely have been that women can multi task better than men) needles to say she failed to complete the U turn because of a car parked in the lay bye, this caused an eastbound Sainsbury's Artic and numerous other vehicles to brake with screeching tyres. He response was to reverse, throw the sandwich into the road, give a vigorous V sign to everybody and continue on her way east towards Fareham. She could just have continued west 300 yards and done her U turn by going round the roundabout.

Standby for a controversial comment......(i'm going to hide now)

They say that women are involved in less accidents than men. That is probably true, but women CAUSE more. They're just in their rear view mirrors !!

No the one by the BP garage, that was the direction she was heading for before doing the U Turn.

The restaurant is very good but also very expensive.

Well, surely, it would depend very much upon which roundabout and traffic lights we're referring to Confused

If we're not talking about the same stretch of road, it could make for interesting eating Laughing

I will also stick my neck out and wait for the flack.

I agree totally, although i now only cover about 20 to 25k miles a year, I was a 50 to 55k mileage driver for many years so have seen plenty of reasons to confirm this. Wink

That's true, I reckon. I saw this well fit bird walking down the street the other day and I almost crashed while I was perving at her. They should all be forced to wear burkas or something, it would improve road safety no end!

Woman driver, BMW, 4x4, mobile phone, inconsiderate driving, littering, destroying the planet, probably just dropped her kids off at school 100 yards from home.... Whew!

I have a grudging respect for this woman, she may be one of the most hated road users around but at least she's not doing it by halves! Twisted Evil
