I am new to this forum and am trying to download the speed camera database to my Tomtom One.
Why is it the download instructions bear absolutely no resemblence to what I see when when I try to download.
There are two versions, 5.42 and 5.44. I have downloaded both of them. Unzip them and they try to overwrite each other as being exactly the same file.!
I have downloaded for the One/Go/Rider, with sideways icons.
I then have to find a list of files called pocketgps-uk.xxx- doesnt exist!
I have copied all the files I can find onto the One and I cant tell if it has applied the update or not.
Why cant I get correct procedure to do this, it is confusing.
Can anybody help or explain????? |

Hang on guys, from what he's saying it looks like he is trying to download the POICapture program by mistake.

rogerout - as MaFt says, you need to be a subscribed member to download the camera database (what you seem to be trying is an add-on reporting tool to help add new cameras to it). You won't even see the download page until you've subscribed. |

ah, so it would seem and the version numbers match up too.
what you need to do is click on 'join' at the top of any page for details of subscription - it costs either £2 for a month or £19 for a full year.
apologies for the accusations in my previous post but from what you were saying it seemed like you were trying to install a version of our database from 'other sources'
thanks
