EMTAC Bluetooth GPS - no Green Light

I have an EMTAC Bluetooth GPS which has stopped working. The green LED does not now come on at all. The Bluetooth works and connects with my IPAQ, but I get no GPS data from the receiver. Is there anything I can do or must it be sent back for repair, and if so who can I send it to. It is still under guarantee but I am not getting any joy from the supplier. Because it is still under guarantee I am nervouse about trying the fix suggested in this forum.
